The consultation

The Client: "Can you make the logo bigger?"

The Designer: "It's already sixty per cent of the layout."

The Client: "I just want it to stand out."

The outcome

A logo with a website attached to it. The navigation now lives inside the letter O.

Clinical notes

Your logo doesn't need to be bigger. It needs space around it, and a reason to be looked at. Size is not hierarchy. Hierarchy is hierarchy.

Recommended treatment: two weeks of white space, applied daily. Avoid the words "can we just".
